Our members cultivate friendships through attending support meetings and participating in Moms Night Out activities like Crafting classes, Exhales, Dinners, Happy Hours, our Annual Gratitude Tea and our new Book Club.
Many of our families are transplants who leave relatives behind. Mocha Moms Austin is a group where children and parents become friends, who grow to be like family. These relationships, especially for our children, are essential to making a wonderful city like Austin feel like home.
Our Chapter supports many causes and host charity fundraisers annually. We have installed book nooks in Salons and Barber Shops to support childhood literacy and raised money for organizations that support disadvantaged women. We support efforts to raise awareness and funds for Cancer Research in events like Pink Heels and Susan G. Komen's annual events. We support our Fire Fighters and find ways to help our community in times of need, most recently following natural disasters and devastating fires. We give. We help. Such projects bring us together as a friends, and strengthen us as a community.
