Information and entertainment were the main attractions of the 2010 South Central Regional Conference, held May 14- May 16 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Information and entertainment were the main attractions of the 2010 South Central Regional Conference, held May 14- May 16 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Presentations on money management, embracing quality time, and managing nutrition in an effort to prevent obesity and diabetes were the key topics of discussion at this year's conference, followed by a Town Hall question and answer session.
After absorbing all of this valuable information, the Mochas partied it up at the New Orleans School of Cooking for the Mom's Night Out event. They were instructed on how to prepare authentic New Orleans dishes! After becoming 5 star chefs, the ladies traveled to Café Du Monde, where beignets awaited them. Food, fun, and fellowship was the name of that eve! A farewell event held on Sunday was the culminating activity of an awesome weekend.
We hope to see you in Las Vegas for next year's National Conference!! 1st CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT A HUGE SUCCESS!
ON MAY 2nd, SUPPORTERS OF THE AUSTIN CHAPTER OF MOCHA MOMS, INC.
JOINED TOGETHER FOR A RELAXING, FUN-FILLED DAY OF GOLF!
The Austin Chapter of Mocha Moms held its first charity golf tournament, designed to raise money for programs that promote literacy such as Boys Booked on Barbershops and Girls Booked on Beauty Shops. JOINED TOGETHER FOR A RELAXING, FUN-FILLED DAY OF GOLF!
This was the most successful fundraiser ever held by the Austin Chapter!! Kudos to our fabulous Executive Board and volunteers who helped pull off this event!!
